Hi, I’m Jameson, the principle analyst behind ConnectCalifornia.
I’ve written extensively on US infrastructure issues, spoken on rural wireless technologies at Broadband Communities Summit 2019, and was an early employee at BroadbandNow, a leading broadband industry pricing index and ad platform. This is where I developed an interest in “the last mile” of rural broadband access, “the last meter” of urban access, and the local ISPs working to connect America.
My work in previous roles on telecom policy and streamed media pricing has been featured by CityLab, Vice, Netflix’s The Patriot Act, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. I’m available for speaking or guest writing on topics related to local internet access and small ISPs, particularly in the Western US.
